Commissions

Below you will see a selection of paintings especially commissioned by private individuals. If you would like to commission a painting of your own please get in touch either using the contact form on the website or by calling Trevor Mitchell on 01274 589053.

Example One

This pair of 20" x 30" paintings were commissioned by the owner of the 1920s Lanchester car you can see in the pictures. The picture below also features his daughters, their horse and the name of his business! Both pictures were made into jigsaw puzzles by Gibsons.

Example Two

Farming Families; the picture to the left was painted from old black and white photos taken in the 1930s. The lady who sent them was one of the children in the cart, shown here with her parents and their house in the background.

Example Three

The picture to the right was a combined 60th birthday and Christmas present. This was commissioned by his family for the gentleman on the tractor and baler at their farm near Ingleborough, shown in the distance.

Example Four

If you've just had 'the holiday of a lifetime' what better way to remember it than a painting composed from your favourite photographs?

I was grateful for the opportunity to do this for two families who had enjoyed wonderful holidays in the USA. One who had visited an Indian reserve in the Grand Canyon and another who had toured Yosemite in a camper van.
